Physiotherapy is the physical medicine and rehabilitation specialty that addresses the illnesses or injuries that limit a person’s ability to move and perform functional activities in daily life.
Our physiotherapist uses the medical history, physical examination and, when necessary, laboratory and imaging studies like X-Rays, CT-scan or MRI, to establish a diagnosis and a management plan.
The physiotherapy treatment may include assistance with specific exercises, manual therapy and manipulation, mechanical devices such as traction, physical agents which include heat, cold, electricity, sound waves and other interventions. In addition, our physiotherapist can offer assistance with exercises to prevent the loss of mobility by developing fitness and wellness-oriented programs.
